Fixington

Features

A job list built for the day you are actually having

Fixington opens on a simple list of jobs. Each row shows the customer, the schedule and what still needs doing, so the diary is the job rather than a calendar you have to decode.

The diary is the home of the app

Independent tradespeople do not work from a desk. The useful view is the next few jobs: who, where, and whether you are quoting, booked, or waiting to be paid. Fixington keeps that list short enough to read in the van.

It suits electricians, plumbers, heating engineers, builders and anyone else who runs jobs one at a time. You are not setting up a project plan. You are keeping today and the quotes that are still open.

Jobs that do not have an appointment yet

A lot of work starts as a quote before anyone agrees a date. Fixington lets you create a job with a customer and no appointment, which is the usual shape of an estimate that has not been booked.

When the date is agreed, the same job picks up a time. The quote, the notes and the customer stay put. You do not copy the enquiry into a separate calendar.

Status you can see without opening the job

The list is there so you can tell, at a glance, what is scheduled and what is still a quote. Open a job when you need the detail. Leave it closed when you only need to know what comes next.

The same list is on iPhone, iPad and, with a subscription, in the browser at app.fixington.com. Replace the phone and the diary is still there.
